The Best of Future Music Festival 2012 - Skirllex, Swedish House Mafia, Friendly Fires, Knife Party, Flux Pavillion

Future was on Saturday and it was heavy. Man there was a lot of people, the crowd for Skrillex was especially crazy. I have to say though the whole layout of the festival, especially the main stage, was utter crap, but hey, once your in and past all the niggle of getting where you want, you have fun.

There were some massive acts, and some huge clashes. Lucky though that most at the top of the list were away from the main stage which made it overall a really enjoyable experience as you could get as close as you wanted. Some people paid the price of having such a small inner front area separated by such a small securtity gap. I saw heaps fence jumpers, and groups storming security successfully. This all culminating in seeing a female security carried out unconscious.

Skrillex, from what i could see stuck on the side, was pretty good. Friendly Fires were EPIC! and the crowd was barely full. The highlight here was Ed Macfarlane jumping into the crowd and running around for a whole song singing with the crowd, that and his dancing which is always classic.

Knife Party and Porter Robinson were the final acts of the day and both did a solid job of ripping the ear drums to pieces, in a good way. Both were very heavy and had some awesome tunes. Zedd's remix of Breaking a Sweat by Skrillex was on heavy repeat and watching a 19 year old absolutely kill it while having Pendulum behind you gapsing at everything you do really makes you think what you did with your early years.

Overall an awesome day and night, i have compiled a couple of the tunes i remember from the festival to give you a taste, bring on next year.
